Sweet small Mexican restaurant. Food was yummy, pleasant festive atmosphere, and moderately priced menu. It tasted like my grandma's cooking. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed an early lunch.

We've been several times and always enjoy ourselves. The food is good quality, prices aren't bad, and the staff has always been friendly. They'll meet you with chips and salsa before you even have a chance to sit down. I've had fish that tasted fresh, burritos that were legit, and a torta that was absolutely delicious. Friends and family have had enchiladas, soup, tacos, and more. I have yet to hear of a complaint. Good stuff

There are so many good Mexican restaurants in SB that it's hard to pick "The Best" one. But Palapa is certainly among my top 5. The food is always super tasty and fresh, the service is very friendly and they have those very pleasant outside tables.

Best shredded beef tacos in Santa Barbara! I Can't get enough of this place. 5 stars!

I absolutely love Palapa!!!!! We visited Santa Barbara earlier this week and we had a fabulous time at Palapa. The patio was lovely with lots of seating and little lights. The salsa was amazing and our server was very nice. The burrito was the best burrito I’ve ever had. I’m not one to write reviews, but Palapa was just that great. Love Palapa.

I love it, this is a real Mexican food and the food it's fresh and delicious I recommend you the chicken soup

CHICKEN SOUP

The tostada ceviche appetizer is such a huge portion that it's a sharable plate for 2-3. I was expecting it to be marinated in lime to give it a more lemony taste but none the less it is really good and tastes really fresh.
